What's the catch?
There isn't one on the invoicing — it's free forever, full stop. Here's how that works: Badger also makes a paid product that chases overdue invoices for you, politely and persistently, with you approving every message. If one of your invoices goes overdue, the app will ask if you'd like that done for you — 14 days free, then paid, and entirely optional. Plenty of businesses just use the free invoicing and chase their own. That's fine by us: every invoice you send is a small ad for the app on its own.
Fair questions
Yes. No card at signup, no ads, no invoice cap, no trial that expires. It's funded by the separate, optional paid product above — not by your data and not by nagging you.
Yes. GST-registered businesses send proper tax invoices — ABN shown, GST separate, dates and line detail — and the app won't let a tax invoice out the door without your ABN on it. Not registered? Invoices go out headed "Invoice" with no GST charged, as the ATO expects.
Your bank details or PayID sit on every invoice, and you can switch on card payments — powered by Stripe, settled to your own bank account. Badger adds no fee; Stripe's standard card fee applies, same as any terminal.
Yes — Badger Invoices is on the App Store, and the web app works on any phone, tablet or computer. Same account everywhere.
